                   BOCKING END CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH

    ======================================================================
    The following list of names relates to the

                   Bocking End Congregational Church

    This church, near Braintree, Essex, England, was one of the very
    earliest of the dissenting chapels established in England. It is
    described in William Quin's "History of Braintree and Bocking" and
    Quin also wrote a history of the Bocking End church, known at first
    as the Bocking End Meeting.

    We have a particular interest in this church as a large number of
    early family members were baptised there and the following list of
    names contains several of our family.

    I have intentionally not sorted this list alphabetically. The list
    was provided through the church, and the dates represent the first
    mention or election of the person. I believe the list to be more or
    less in date sequence and thought it best to preserve that order.
    Those names with numbers after them appear to be identical names but
    different people.
